Addu youth cricket team 2004, a special invitation from President of the republic of the Maldives, they went to play in Male’ to play with Male’ Students, and this photo is taken in presidents office with Mr. President, Addu Youth team and officials, the first ever team from Addu who went to play in Male’.

The people of Addu are found of this little and never disturb it when it is nesting. The terns commonly nest in gardens where they lay their single egg on the branch of a breadfruit tree and rear the chick without any nest what so ever. Very often children will play with the chicks but the parent birds are not upset and even fly down to the hand to feed the young ster.
